Client Lisa Samia Selected as Manassas National Park Service's Artist in Residence

Transport back in time with Civil War Author Lisa Samia

Long-term client Lisa Samia, an Award Winning Poet and Author was recently selected as the National Parks Arts Foundation's Artist in Residence for Gettysburg National Battlefield Park and National Parks Service's Artist in Residence for Manassas National Battlefield Park for poetry. Manassas National Battlefield Park's mission is to preserve and protect the land and resources associated with the First and Second Battles of Manassas. The park is used to foster understanding and appreciation of the battles and their significance through opportunities for interpretation, education, enjoyment, and inspiration. The Manassas National Battlefield Park's Artist in Residence program began in 2016 and allows artists to get away from their daily commitments and concentrate on their surroundings. Artists will use their chosen art medium to reflect the meanings and significance of Manassas National Battlefield Park into artistic creations.
